Joshua Tree

Like many people, I was first drawn to Joshua Tree National Park because of the band U2, and their eponymous album, which I absolutely loved. Still do. Anyway, I wanted to find the actual tree on the album’s cover, unaware that it was 200 miles away, near Darwin, on route 190. No matter, as soon as I began to explore the park, I fell in love, and have now been shooting there for over 30 years. The Mojave Desert never fails to inspire me to my very core.
